Solid State Variable Speed AC Electric Motor Control KBWC-13K

The control provides infinite variable speed for shaded pole and PSC motors. The maximum amperage on the motor name plate must not exceed the max amps rating, otherwise, both the control and the motor will be damaged. It is essential to run the motor with enough torque to prevent stalling, as a motor that is not turning will overheat. Additionally, a fan blade must be installed on the shaft (direct drive) to cool the motor, and this control should not be used with gear motors. It is important to note that controls that have been installed are not eligible for return.

This product is designed to fit a standard 2" x 4" electrical wall box and has a maximum amperage of 2.5 at 115 volts. It is UL and CSA approved, but should not be used with Capacitor Start or Capacitor Run Motors. This control is suitable for use with fans, blowers, fireplace blowers, attic fans, humidifiers, and ventilators.
